New York City, NY (PRWEB) January 10, 2012 Preparing students for the English Language Arts (ELA) and Math standardized exams is a point of pride for Bright Kids NYC. The ELA and Math exams are given annually to students in grades three through eight and have an indelible impact on the futures of students enrolled in New York public schools. These scores affect students in a number of ways as they are used to determine student promotion to the next grade level, admission into a Gifted and Talented program, or the proper level of class a child should be assigned to. This year the test scores will also be used to determine a teacher?s rating and to guide schools and teachers in their lesson planning.
